In order to streamline your visit, we recommend you call us to make an appointment. We aim to provide a same day appointment for all new injuries and this could save you from a lengthy wait in your local Emergency Department.
Through a collaboration with Synergy Radiology (Norwest) and I-Med Radiology (Narellan), we are able to offer our patients the convenience of on-site X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT & MRI at our Norwest and Narellan locations.
One-Off Gap Payment Per Injury
We have aimed to keep our gap payment to a minimum, whilst still being able to deliver rapid access to the highest quality urgent care and access to Specialist Orthopaedic/Hand Surgeon and Emergency Medicine Specialist treatment.
At your first consultation you will be charged a $120 consultation fee. Depending on the length of your consultation and the clinician you see, you may be entitled to a rebate from Medicare or your Private Health Insurer (if applicable). If you are entitled to a rebate from Medicare or Private Health Insurer we can generally process this for you at the time of payment. All subsequent follow-up consultations in our practice that attract a Medicare rebate will be Bulk-Billed. This includes your consultations with our Specialists and Nurse Practitioners.
As a multi-disciplinary practice you may be reviewed by multiple clinicians at the one appointment, based on your clinical needs. By conveniently locating multiple clinicians at the one location prevents the need for you to attend multiple clinics on multiple days. For example, you may be reviewed by one of our Specialists who may require the assistance of one of our Physiotherapists to apply a brace or immobilisation device and provide relevant education or demonstrate suitable exercises. If this occurs we will accept your Private Health Insurance Physiotherapy payment as full payment for this service- with No gap.
Depending on your injury, you may require a cast, CAM Walker (Moon Boot), crutches or other immobilisation device. Some of these items may have a cost associated with them, if you choose to purchase such an item from us. We will advise you of any potential equipment costs at your consultation and you are under no obligation to purchase these from us. We do however aim to keep the cost of our consumables at the lowest possible price for our patients.
Unfortunately, Medicare does not provide a rebate for our Physiotherapy consultations. If you require a follow-up appointment with one of our Physiotherapists and choose to use your Private Health Insurance Physiotherapy (Extras) cover, we will accept your Health Fund's rebate with No-Gap payment. If you do not have Physiotherapy cover or choose not to use it, there is a flat consultation fee of $30 per Physiotherapist appointment.
Please be aware that we do not provide medico-legal reports, including those associated with insurance claims/applications. We can however send a letter to your referring doctor or regular GP informing them of the details of your appointment with us including your injury and our recommended treatment plan.
We will happily provide you with a standard Sickness/Injury Certificate if we consider you unable to attend work or school due to your injury, however we do not complete assessment forms related to specific work duties or other activities.
